The Swedish labour market

The Swedish labour market is being transformed. Global competition is getting tougher and public markets are being regulated in new ways. These changes are creating a greater need for economic actors to understand the political processes and to respond to the political risks in their operations. New Republic has over many years worked with a number of business and employer associations in areas critical to their member companies’ competitiveness. Our areas of work include, for instance, labour law, procurement, public regulation, job matching, integration, migration, taxation and skills provision.

New Republic’s labour-market and economy team has accumulated extensive experience from having held political positions in the Swedish Government Offices, parliament, government agencies, municipal councils, the European Parliament, unions and business and employer associations.
